The location was great—right beside Darlinghurst, which I didnʼt even realise before booking. Rose was wonderful and made check-in smooth, even though I arrived late at night. You know that feeling when you arrive in a new city… and all you want is something easy, warm, and just a little familiar?

That’s how Azzurro Hotels started — out of all the little moments that didn’t quite work when we were traveling.

We’d get to a place late and miss dinner because we didn’t make a reservation. We’d want to cook… but hotels didn’t have a kitchen. We’d crave comfort, but didn’t want to splurge.

So we built the kind of stay we always wished we had.

Azzurro is for the in-between moments — where a hot, home-cooked meal is waiting (no booking needed), where beds are affordable yet private, and where the vibe is homely, cozy, and genuine.

We’re not a hotel. We’re not a hostel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I request a bottom bunk?

Yes, you can request a bottom bunk when making your reservation or during check-in.  While we do our best to accommodate such requests, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Can I pay with cash?

We accept credit and debit cards only. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash payments.

Is breakfast/dinner free?

Yes, both are included in your booking!

For dinner, please let us know if you are attending by 4pm so the chef can prepare  enough food and help us avoid food waste.

What is your cancellation, modification, and refund policy?

Policies depend on the booking platform used.

Please refer to your booking confirmation email for the exact terms of your  reservation.

Is early check-in possible?

Early check-in is subject to availability. If there is a guest staying before you, your room will be ready from 3PM.

However, you are welcome to arrive earlier, and we can provide you with a code to  access the common area while you wait or leave your luggage in the luggage  room.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at our property.
